Matthew Riccitello won stage 2 of the Tour de la Provence, outsprinting Carlos Rodríguez on the snowy summit of Montagne de Lure. The American followed Rodríguez’s late attack before launching his own sprint inside the final 200 metres. He now leads the general classification by four seconds with one stage remaining.
