Margaux Vigié’s Tour of Britain - Domestique Diary
An exciting new feature where professional cyclists take us along with them during their race.

The Domestique Diary sees professional cyclists take us along with them during their race. It's an opportunity to find out what the race was like from the perspective of somebody who was involved in the thick of the action.
The first edition of the Domestique Diary comes courtesy of Margaux Vigié (Visma | Lease a Bike), who raced at the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women and shared some insights about her experience at the race.
Marguax generously caught up with Domestique at the end of each stage and shared her experiences and feelings post-race, talking all things from race-winning moves, action-packed racing and the British weather.
Stage 1: "We saw some sheep"
Margaux talks about seeing British animals, Faulkner and Le Court, and previews stage 2.
Stage 2: "Really bold move"
Margaux talks about aggressive racing, climbing, and Mara Roldan's winning attack.
Stage 3: "Never trust the British weather"
Margaux talks about British weather, crashes, and helping teammates on queen stage.
Stage 4: "Everybody was traumatised by the last day"
Margaux talks about the road furniture all over the place and how the stage eventually unfolded.
