Critérium du Dauphiné: Final results and standings
Tadej Pogacar sealed final overall victory at the Critérium du Dauphiné at Plateau du Mont-Cenis on Sunday. The world champion won three stages across the week to cement his status as the favourite to win the Tour de France.

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) has become the first reigning world champion to win the Critérium du Dauphiné since Bernard Hinault in 1981. The victory is the 99th of his professional career.
Pogacar won a hat-trick of stages during the eight-day race, which finished at Plateau du Mont-Cenis on Sunday.
Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) placed second overall at 59 seconds, while Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) held on to third overall at 2:38.
Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-QuickStep) finished fourth overall at 4:21, while Tobias Johannessen (Uno-X Mobility) took fifth overall at 6:12.
Matteo Jorgenson (Visma | Lease a Bike) jumped over Paul Seixas (Decathlon-AG2R) on the final day to take sixth at 7:28.
Pogacar also secured the points classification ahead of Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck).
Bruno Armirail (Decathlon-AG2R La Mondiale) secured the king of the mountains title, while Lipowitz claimed the white jersey of best young rider. Visma | Lease a Bike won the team classification.
