INEOS Grenadiers secure 16-year-old talent Benjamín Noval
The British WorldTour team have signed one of the biggest junior prospects in men's cycling, who will join the professional ranks from 2027.

INEOS Grenadiers have announced the signing of 16-year-old Spanish junior talent Benjamín Noval, who will join the British WorldTour team in 2027, after completing his junior programme.
The Asturias native currently rides for the MMR Cycling Academy and has already established himself as one of cycling's most promising prospects. Son of former professional cyclist Benjamín Noval, the younger Noval has already captured the attention of many in 2025 by winning both the general classification and youth classifications at the Vuelta Ciclista al Besaya and GP F.W.R Baron, while also impressing at Paris-Roubaix Juniors. Like so many, Noval has also proven himself to be a talent across multiple disciplines, having become junior national champion in Cyclocross, as well as finishing 4th in the junior men's cyclocross world championships in Liévin back in February.
INEOS Grenadiers will work closely with Noval from now until 2027, preparing him for the demands of professional racing and to be able to compete at the highest level in the biggest races, before his official integration into the team.
"Joining the INEOS Grenadiers is a dream come true for me," said Noval. "This is one of the best cycling teams in the world, and I'm very happy to join its ranks so they can help me develop my qualities to their full extent. I want to thank the team for believing in me, and I hope to pay them back in the near future."
Not only for his raw talent, Noval has drawn praise from many for his natural race intelligence, instincts and maturity well beyond his junior years. These qualities have marked him as a rider with the potential to make a significant impact in the sport in years to come.
Scott Drawer, Head of Performance at INEOS Grenadiers, highlighted Noval's potential: "Benjamín has all the hallmarks of a rider who can develop into something very special. He's intelligent on the bike and driven off it, and he has already shown a real edge in competitive environments. We're excited to support his transition to the WorldTour and look forward to helping him fulfill his potential within our performance system."
The announcement reflects INEOS Grenadiers' commitment to nurturing young talent, with riders like AJ August, Michael Leonard, Artem Shmidt, and Josh Tarling, all on the books, and currently 21 or younger. Noval will join many, such as Remco Evenepoel, who jumped from the junior ranks to the professional ranks, and that is why the INEOS Grenadiers have highlighted the importance of the path ahead for the Spanish rider.
John Allert, CEO of INEOS Grenadiers, emphasised the team's long-term vision: "At the heart of our team is a belief in long-term development and investing in the next generation of talent. Benjamín represents that future, and we're delighted he's chosen to grow and develop with us. The foundations we will put in place for him ahead of 2027 will be designed to support performance but also his growth as an athlete and individual."
