Tour de France 2025: Standings after stage 18 - Pogacar one step closer to glory
Ben O'Connor claimed his first victory in the colours of Jayco AlUla and the second stage win of his Tour de France career whilst Tadej Pogačar moved one stage closer to a third Tour de France title.

Ben O'Connor (Jayco AlUla) climbed his way to victory atop the Col de la Loze on stage 18 of the Tour de France, on the queen stage in the Alps.
Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) managed the early pressure from Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) and his team, with the Slovenian looking primed to hold yellow in Paris after distancing his rival in the final hundred metres.
O'Connor finished 1:45 ahead of Pogačar in second and 1:54 over Vingegaard in third.
Oscar Onley was a major winner on the stage in the general classification, who finished in 4th on the stage and put significant time into his main rival for the third spot on the podium, Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe).
Pogačar leads Vingegaard by 4:26 in the standings, whilst Lipowitz holds onto his spot on the podium at 11:01, with Onley only 22 seconds behind at 11:23.
Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) leads the points classification, Pogačar heads the mountains standings and Lipowitz narrowly holds white by that 22-second margin over Onley.
