Tour de France 2025: standings after stage 20 - Pogacar close to fourth Tour victory
Kaden Groves took his first Tour de France stage victory after a brave breakaway ride. Tadej Pogačar finished in the peloton and continues to lead with just one stage to go.

Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) took a maiden Tour de France stage victory after a brave solo ride into Pontarlier on Saturday. The Australian had been part of a large group which was eventually allowed some space by a fractured peloton. He attacked that group but though he was caught, he made a second move with 16km of the 184.2km stage remaining, soloing to the win.
Tadej Pgačar(UAE Team Emirates-XRG) finished in the peloton, more than seven minutes down, alongside all the GC favourites and retains his overall lead of 4.24 on Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike, with Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe) in third, at 11.09.
The only change in the general classification was Ben O'Connor (Jayco-AlUla) being replaced in 10th place by Jordan Jégat (TotalEnergies) who was in the breakway.
Pogačar also sealed the mountains classification during the stage, ensuring he will win two jerseys in Paris tomorrow, barring accident of incident.
Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) continues to lead the green jersey points competition.
