Tour de France 2025: Results and standings after stage 2
Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) is the new leader of the Tour de France after his powerful victory in Boulogne-sur-Mer on stage 2 ahead of Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) and Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike).

The Dutchman inherits the yellow jersey from his teammate Jasper Philipsen, who won stage 1 in Lille.
Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) lies second overall at four seconds, while Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) is third at six seconds. Matteo Jorgenson (Visma | Lease a Bike) is fifth at 10 seconds.
Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-QuickStep) is 18th at 49 seconds, with Primoz Roglic (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) in 21st place at 49 seconds.
Philipsen remains in the green jersey, while Pogacar moves into the king of the mountains jersey.
Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa-B&B Hotels) will wear the white jersey of best young rider on stage 3, while Groupama-FDJ lead the team classification.
