Vuelta a España 2025: Standings after stage 15 - Pedersen on his way to green glory
Mads Pedersen is all but home and hosed now in the green jersey standings after his victory from the breakaway. No changes towards the top of the general classification as the stage went to the breakaway.
There were no changes in towards the upper echelons as the day went to the breakaway, which featured no dangers in general classification. Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) still retains a 48 second lead over João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates - XRG)
There was, however, big changes in the points classification as Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) becomes an almost forgone conclusion to win the green jersey adding 95 points across the stage. The Dane picked up 15 points from the intermediate sprint of the day, with 80 coming from the stage victory. Pedersen's total points now tally 237 points, holding a 98 points over Jonas Vingegaard.
