Vuelta a España 2025: Standings after stage 17 - Vingegaard holds red on El Morredero
Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) remains in the red jersey of the Vuelta a España after stage 17 to the Alto de El Morredero, which was won by Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe).

Vingegaard is 50 seconds clear of João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) after he gained a brace of seconds on the Portuguese rider in the final scramble for the line. Tom Pidcock (Q36.5) remains third overall at 2:28, with Jai Hindley (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) fourth at 3:04.
Pellizzari is still fifth overall, now 3:51 behind Vingegaard. Felix Gall (Decathlon-AG2R) lost ground he remains sixth overall ahead of Matthew Riccitello (Israel-Premier Tech).
Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) retains a commanding lead in the points classification, while Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) remains king of the mountains with 20 points in hand on Vingegaard.
Pellizzari is the best young rider, 1:08 up on Riccitello.
