Vuelta a España 2025: Standings after stage 19 - Vingegaard gains time at intermediate sprint
Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) extended his lead in the general classification after picking up bonus seconds at the intermediate sprint on stage 19, as Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) sprinted to the stage win

Vingegaard added 4 seconds to his lead over João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) courtesy of the Dane’s second place at the intermediate sprint in Salamanca. Vingegaard now leads the GC by 44 seconds over Almeida, gaining back nearly half the amount of time he lost to the Portuguese rider in the time trial.
Tom Pidcock (Q36.5) remains in 3rd overall, 39 seconds ahead of Jai Hindley (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe).
Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) moved one stage closer to securing the points classification, finishing second on the stage, and the same can be said for Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) in the mountains classification.
Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) sits 5th overall, and leads the youth classification ahead of Matthew Riccitello (Israel-Premier Tech) in 6th.
