Vuelta a España 2025: Standings after stage 3 - Gaudu draws level with Vingegaard
David Gaudu's victory on stage 3 sees the Frenchman move up to 2nd, level on time with Jonas Vingegaard. However, the Dane keeps the red jersey.

Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) finished 3rd on stage 3 to defend the red jersey as race leader. The Dane continues to lead the general classification but is now level on time with David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) in 2nd overall, who claimed the stage win. Giulio Ciccone (Lidl-Trek) sits 3rd overall at 8 seconds.
Vingegaard continues to lead the points classification, whilst Alessandro Verre (Arkéa-B&B Hotels) is the new leader of the mountains classification after his effort in the day’s breakaway.
Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) remains the leader of the youth classification.
