Classic Var

The Classic Var is a French one-day race held in the Var department in the south of France. Created in 2024 as part of a revamped early season French programme, the race forms a natural pairing with the Tour des Alpes Maritimes. Taking place on hilly terrain between the Mediterranean coast and the Provençal hinterland, the course is typically suited to puncheurs and versatile climbers preparing for the spring classics. The event is part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar and has quickly established itself as a competitive February fixture.
