Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx – Protime) powered to a dominant victory in the first-ever Copenhagen Sprint, winning by several bike lengths. The race was largely controlled by the sprint teams, with an early breakaway neutralised well before the finish. A major crash in the final 8 km caused splits in the peloton, but SD Worx stayed in control. Wiebes delivered on her favourite status with a commanding sprint, though she later raised concerns about rider safety and UCI regulations.
