About Giro Women 2025 Stage 2 beforehand
Stage 2 may be short at just under 100 km, but it features the first summit finish of the race. After a fast descent from Clusone and a flat stretch through the valley, the road gradually rises towards Aprica. The climb is long but mostly gentle, with shallow gradients and only one steep section near Santicolo that could invite attacks. The finish sits at 1,200 metres, but altitude is unlikely to play a major role. This is the least demanding of the three summit finishes, so a larger group could still contest the win.
