Gran Piemonte, first held in 1906, is one of Italy’s oldest races and a staple of the autumn calendar. Formerly known as the Giro del Piemonte, it has seen legends like Costante Girardengo, Gino Bartali and Fiorenzo Magni each take three victories. The route has shifted over time, alternating between sprinter and climber editions. Now part of the UCI ProSeries, it remains an important lead-up to Il Lombardia.
