She quickly built a commanding lead and finished 1 minute 29 seconds ahead, while Puck Pieterse beat Katarzyna Niewiadoma in the sprint for second place. The victory capped a dominant Classics campaign for Vollering, adding to her wins at Omloop Nieuwsblad, the Tour of Flanders and Flèche Wallonne.
