The Muscat Classic is a 1.Pro UCI one day race held in early February, starting and finishing in Muscat, Oman, and part of the calendar since 2023. Set against the backdrop of rugged mountains, desert roads and the coastline of the Gulf of Oman, the race offers a selective course that favours puncheurs and strong all rounders rather than pure sprinters. Positioned at the start of the Middle Eastern racing block, the Muscat Classic serves as a key warm up event ahead of the Tour of Oman and provides an early season test for riders building form.
