Widely regarded as the opening race of the Belgian spring season, it features many of the iconic Flemish climbs that define early season racing. First held in 2006, the event is known for its cold and sometimes brutal conditions, the passion of Belgian fans who create a fantastic atmosphere, and the unique blend of beauty and chaos that characterises the Flemish region.
