Olav Kooij powered to victory on stage 2 of the Renewi Tour, outsprinting the field in Ardooie after a wind-blown day on the Flemish coast. Strong crosswinds split the peloton repeatedly, while crashes and late attacks failed to prevent a sprint finish. Race leader Tim Merlier stayed safe, but it was Kooij who proved the fastest on the line.
