Marianne Vos took a thrilling victory on stage 1 of the Tour de France Femmes with a perfectly timed sprint in Plumelec, following strong teamwork from Visma | Lease a Bike. She edged past Kim Le Court in the final metres to win the stage and claim the yellow jersey. Le Court finished second, with Pauline Ferrand-Prévot in third.
