Lorena Wiebes claimed her first stage win at this year’s Tour de France Femmes with a powerful sprint in Angers, giving SD Worx-Protime a much-needed victory. A crash with 4km to go disrupted the finale, but Wiebes stayed upright and finished ahead of Marianne Vos and Ally Wollaston. Vos reclaimed the yellow jersey thanks to bonus seconds. Pre-race favourite Demi Vollering was involved in the crash but lost no time.
