Tim Wellens completed his set of Grand Tour stage wins with a 43km solo victory into Carcassonne. The Belgian champion was part of multiple breakaways throughout the chaotic stage but waited patiently before launching his decisive move on the final climb. His lead held firm as the chasers never came close, with the GC contenders rolling in over six minutes later. Pogačar retains the yellow jersey heading into the final rest day.
