Stage 19 Tour de France 2025

25.07

Thymen Arensman won stage 19 of the Tour de France 2025 with a gutsy solo effort on La Plagne, holding off Vingegaard and Pogačar by two seconds. Pogačar didn’t take the stage win, but with one mountain stage remaining, he’s all but secured his fourth yellow jersey. Behind them, Florian Lipowitz gained time on Oscar Onley and strengthened his hold on third place overall.

About Tour de France 2025 Stage 19 beforehand

Stage 19 is the final summit finish of the 2025 Tour, with 4,800 metres of climbing packed into just 130 kilometres. Expect fireworks on the steep Col du Pré and Cormet de Roseland, but all eyes will be on the 19.5-kilometre ascent to La Plagne. If the GC battle is still alive, this could be a stage for the ages.
