Remco Evenepoel powered to victory in the stage 5 time trial of the Tour de France, but it was Tadej Pogačar who took over the yellow jersey with a strong second place, just 16 seconds behind. Jonas Vingegaard struggled from the start, lost over a minute, and drops to fourth overall. Pogačar now leads Evenepoel by 42 seconds in the GC.
