Tim Merlier took his second stage win of the 2025 Tour de France in Châteauroux, outsprinting Jonathan Milan and Arnaud De Lie after a nail-biting finale. Mathieu van der Poel lit up the stage with a daring breakaway alongside Jonas Rickaert, but was caught inside the final kilometre. Despite crosswind threats and mid-stage splits, all GC favourites finished safely in the bunch.
