Route
The 2026 Tour de Romandie starts with a short prologue and quickly moves into a series of rolling stages that are harder than they look on paper. Constant climbing and uneven terrain will wear riders down before the race reaches the mountains.
Stage 4 over the Jaunpass should create the first real gaps, while the final summit finish in Leysin is set to decide the overall.
With no time trial later in the week, the climbers will have the final say.

Lenny Martinez also returns to a race where he impressed last year and looks ready to contend again. Outsiders such as Oscar Onley and Jørgen Nordhagen could play a role if the race opens up.
