Dorian Godon claimed a surprise win in the opening prologue of the Tour de Romandie, setting a time of 3:35 over the 3.2 km course to beat Ivo Oliveira and Jakob Söderqvist by six seconds. Tadej Pogačar, the last rider to start, could not match the benchmark and finished seven seconds down.
