Stage 2 of the Tour de Suisse Women ups the difficulty with 2,300 metres of climbing packed into 161.7 kilometres. Once again, the road rises from the start - this time over the Saanenmöser from a higher point - before heading into a series of demanding climbs. With the first-category Schallenberg, the steep ramps of Wintermatt and Buechenhübeli near the finish, this is a day tailor-made for explosive climbers and opportunists. GC contenders will need to stay sharp.
