Erlend Blikra won stage 4 of the 2026 Tour of Oman with a perfectly timed sprint after 146.8 kilometres from Al Sawadi Beach to Sohar. A late breakaway with Warre Vangheluwe and Patryk Goszczurny held on deep into the finale but was caught with 2.8 kilometres to go, setting up the expected bunch finish with Alpecin-Premier Tech driving the front. Blikra beat Emmanuel Houcou and Sebastian Molano, while the final stage to Green Mountain is set to shake up the GC as leader Mauro Schmid faces pressure from riders like Adam Yates.
