Tre Valli Varesine Women
The women’s Tre Valli Varesine is a recent addition to Italy’s autumn racing calendar. First held in 2021, it was introduced by the Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda to mirror the men’s classic and highlight women’s racing on the same challenging roads around Varese.
The women’s Tre Valli Varesine is a young addition to one of Italy’s oldest autumn races. First held in 2021, it was created by Società Ciclistica Alfredo Binda to mirror the men’s event and to showcase women’s racing on the same scenic and demanding roads around Varese. From the start, it has attracted a strong field, with riders such as Elisa Longo Borghini and Lianne Lippert among its early winners.
Like the men’s race, it features repeated circuits over the climbs of Morosolo and Casciago, favouring punchy riders who can handle short climbs and finish fast.
