Tre Valli Varesine 2025
07.10
Tadej Pogačar claimed victory at the 2025 Tre Valli Varesine with a dominant solo attack 22 kilometres from the finish. The world champion rode unchallenged to the line after a demanding 200 km race featuring over 3,300 metres of climbing between Busto Arsizio and Varese. Albert Withen Philipsen (Lidl-Trek) won the sprint for second ahead of Julian Alaphilippe (Tudor), as the race made a strong return after last year’s cancellation.
What we said beforehand
Tre Valli Varesine returns on 7 October 2025 for its 104th edition, one year after heavy rain forced the cancellation of the race. Tadej Pogačar, who had promised to return, will honour that commitment on the roads around Varese. The route keeps its familiar loops, with repeated climbs of Morosolo and Casciago before a slightly uphill finish in the city centre. Set against the changing colours of Lombardy, it offers riders one last real test before the season’s end.
