Trofeo Ses Salines 2026
29.01
Remco Evenepoel made an immediate impact in his first race with Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, powering the team to victory in the Trofeo Ses Salines TTT in Mallorca. Movistar pushed them all the way and finished just four seconds back, with Jayco AlUla third at seventeen seconds. Red Bull turned it around after being third at the midpoint, managing the headwind better in the second half. Evenepoel, Florian Lipowitz, Nico Denz and Maxim Van Gils brought home the minimum four riders to seal the win.

Favourites
With Evenepoel, Lipowitz and the core of their projected Tour line up on the start list, Red Bull arrive as clear favourites. The course is flat and relatively straightforward, which plays to their depth, organisation and raw power, and it offers the ideal setting to translate Evenepoel’s time trial excellence into a collective effort.
UAE Team Emirates-XRG are present but without Pogačar, which removes a major benchmark, while Tudor bring a genuine reference point in Küng as they target stage 1 of the Tour. Even so, the balance of form and personnel points firmly towards Red Bull, and Evenepoel’s habit of winning on his first race day only strengthens that expectation.
