Ethan Vernon sprinted to victory on a modified Stage 4 of the Volta a Catalunya, holding off race leader Dorian Godon in Camprodón. Tom Pidcock climbed to second overall after collecting bonus seconds, while Remco Evenepoel also gained time despite his earlier crash. Strong winds forced organisers to shorten the stage and remove the summit finish, setting up a sprint finish instead.
