Jonas Vingegaard won the queen stage of the Volta a Catalunya with a decisive attack on the final climb to Santuari de Queralt, extending his overall lead. After a controlled ride from his team and pressure from rivals led by Remco Evenepoel, the race was reduced to a select group before Vingegaard made his move inside the final three kilometres. With one stage remaining in Barcelona, the Dane is firmly on course to secure overall victory.
