13.09

Jonas Vingegaard sealed the Vuelta a España by soloing to victory on the Bola del Mundo in the penultimate stage. What we said beforehand

Stage 20 is the final GC showdown and one of the toughest tests of the race. After three early climbs, the spotlight falls on two ascents of the Puerto de Navacerrada, the second continuing to the brutal Bola del Mundo. Its final 3.2km average 12.2% at 2,200m altitude, making it a climb to rival the Angliru and a likely decider in the battle for the red jersey.
