Tadej Pogačar made it back-to-back world titles with a crushing solo victory in Kigali, attacking on Mont Kigali more than 100km from the finish and never looking back. Remco Evenepoel took silver after a costly series of bike changes, while Ben Healy claimed bronze ahead of Mattias Skjelmose. Once again, the World Championships road race proved a stage for Pogačar’s dominance.
