1. Jordan Jegat

Jordan Jegat (TotalEnergies) had an injury-plagued start to the 2026 season, blighted by a niggling knee injury that delayed his return to racing until the middle of April. That return was an immaculate one as the Frenchman won immediately in his first race at the Classic Grand Besançon Doubs and followed up with a podium the day after at the Tour du Jura.

After, Jegat took part in the Tour of Turkey, which must be stated was a wonderful parcours featuring sprint stages as well as brutal high mountain stages, where Jegat ended up finishing 4th. His last race before the Dauphiné was the Mercan'Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes, where he finished 15th.

Going onto the Dauphiné, Jegat should arrive, preparing for the Tour a month later in July, where he finished 10th in the general classification in July. On Cycling Fantasy, Jegat is just 400 credits, and based on his pedigree as already mentioned, for 400 credits, you really cannot go wrong with taking a 'gamble' on him to be one of your top four riders in your nine-rider team.

2. Yannis Voisard

Voisard, in terms of his Cycling Fantasy price, is seriously underrated, coming in at just 200 credits. Voisard has demonstrated some strong performances already in 2026, with his 2026 beginning with a bang in January after the Swiss took a stage victory on stage 3 of the AlUa Tour ahead of the recent maglia bianca winner, Afonso Eulalio.

Voisard's February-April was something of a mixed affair with no real results, but his results turned a page when he took part in the Tour de Romandie in his native land with three top ten finishes across the five stages.

For just 200 credits and based on his strong showing in the Tour de Romandie and the fact that Voisard is capable of taking some top stage results, especially with his kick, you should consider taking Voisard as one of the 'jokers' of your team.

3. Luke Tuckwell

What a solid neo-pro season the 21-year-old Aussie, Luke Tuckwell, is having. If you followed his under-23 journey, you would have already known the talent that Tuckwell possesses, especially after his performance in the 2025 Giro Next Gen.

Tuckwell's last appearance before the Dauphiné was the Tour de Romandie, where he took a rather unexpected 6th-place finish in the general classification with two solid climbing performances riding in support of Florian Lipowitz.

With Tuckwell costing 200 credits, he is yet another rider who can help fill up your roster, but he can also take a top-ten stage result if the race scenario presents itself.

4. Dorian Godon

Dorian Godon was a man on a mission in the recent Tour de Romandie, but even before that, Ineos had reaped the rewards of the acquisition of Godon with four victories even before that. The nature of stages 2 and 5 means Godon is almost certainly going to be the out-and-out favourite for the stage victory, which we believe should be a stroll in the park considering the lack of fast men wanting to contend with the nature of the 2026 route.

For 800 credits, Godon is a clear top rider who can give you the valuable points needed to tip you over the edge against your competitors, but it's if you want to distribute your points elsewhere to climbing contenders.

5. Jørgen Nordhagen

We have a recurring theme here: young riders with serious potential. Nordhagen is slated to do just that and has already performed well for Visma | Lease a Bike. Nordhagen began 2026 at the UAE Tour, taking 8th in the general classification, followed by supporting Jonas Vingegaard at Catalunya, finishing second behind Adam Yates at Gran Camino before La Fleche Wallone and then the Tour de Romandie.

Nordhagen's Tour de Romandie was strong as the 21-year-old finished 4th in the general classification amongst some strong climbers. The Dauphiné is, of course, a different kettle of fish with the mountainous nature of the 2026 route, so it will be interesting to decipher Nordhagen's performances after.

With Matteo Jorgenson's condition unknown, although we expect he will be able to showcase yet another showing at the Dauphiné, Nordhagen is a capable backup option for Visma and for 400 credits, he is worth a pickup.
