Strade Bianche has gone from a spin-off of a vintage bike ride in Tuscany to one of the most prestigious one-day races in professional cycling in less than 20 years. In this video, we trace that rise: from Giancarlo Brocci's 92 riders on steel bikes in 1997, through the mud-soaked epic of 2018, to Tadej Pogacar's extraordinary 81km solo in 2024.
