We are live! Welcome to Domestique

After months of preparation, hard work and a few sacrifices along the way, the day is finally here: launch day. We’re aiming for something bold - a thermonuclear Tadej Pogačar-style attack. But as with anything in cycling, only time will tell how far and how fast we’ll go.

So what can you expect from us?

We want to become your go-to place for everything that truly matters in pro cycling. From complete news coverage and live race updates to in-depth stories, sharp analysis, interviews, and always up-to-date stats and results. All of it created by an editorial team that knows the sport inside out - and supported by a concept that gives both creators and (former) riders a platform to share their perspectives and insights, with a fair revenue model to match. Because Domestique isn’t just a name. It’s a role. One that helps others shine.

You’ll see authentic video reports straight from the peloton, engaging podcasts hosted by riders, and strong opinions and insights from both current and former pros - shared in columns and blogs.

From the creator side, expect a wide range of formats: performance breakdowns, extremely detailed course previews, background features, and personal reflections on what stood out in recent races. You’ll also hear from experts in nutrition, gear and training who know what they’re talking about.

But more than anything, we believe in the cycling community. Fans aren’t just spectators. You notice the details, you reflect, you care. That’s why we’ll always try to involve you on our platform - because the conversation around cycling doesn’t stop at the finish line. That’s where it starts.

To us, that’s what makes Domestique different: the mix of riders, experts, creators and fans - people who live and breathe the sport. This is what The Voice of Cycling means to us, and our vision for what Domestique can become.

And the best part? Everything on Domestique is free and will stay that way. No paywalls, no forced video ads before you can even read an article. Yes, we’ll have some advertising, but our focus is on partnerships with brands that actually add value to your Domestique experience.

Of course, we know Domestique isn’t perfect yet. This was just stage 1. Some things you’ll love. Others… maybe not so much. And that’s okay. We’ve got a lot planned, especially when it comes to content. We’re rolling out new formats and steadily bringing more creators and riders on board. That way, we don’t just grow in quantity, but with the right people behind the stories.

We’re not in a rush. We’re taking our time to get this right - with attention, care and love. And most importantly, we’re doing it together. Out in the open (check our public roadmap) and with input from people like you. So if you have feedback, questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Other ways you can help us if you like our way of thinking? Simple: come back often, follow the 2025 season with us, and share Domestique with other cycling fans.

Stage 1 is done. We’re incredibly excited for what’s next - for Domestique, for you as a fan and for ourselves as a team.

Thanks for being here - and a special shoutout to all the Founding Domestiques who helped make this possible.

Best,

Michiel van Looijengoed (Founder)
On behalf of Team Domestique

we are grateful to our partners.
Are you?

In a time of paywalls, we believe in the power of free content. Through our innovative model and creative approach to brands, we ensure they are seen as a valuable addition by the community rather than a commercial interruption. This way, Domestique remains accessible to everyone, our partners are satisfied, and we can continue to grow. We hope you’ll support the brands that make this possible.

Can we keep you up to speed?
