The 2026 Giro d'Italia returns to Italian soil on Tuesday after Monday's rest day and transfer, with stage 4 between Catanzaro and Cosenza the first taste of southern Italy for the peloton. The 138km route through Calabria looks like another opportunity for the sprinters, although the category 2 climb of Cozzo Tunno (14.3km at 5.9%) cresting just 43km from the line will give the pure fast men plenty to think about and could open the door for a breakaway. Stage 4 is set to roll out at 13:40 CEST, with the finish anticipated at around 17:13 CEST.
