With Tadej Pogačar shaping up as the big pre-race favourite, the Slovenian in La Doyenne could face challenges from two-time winner Remco Evenepoel and Flèche Wallonne champion Paul Seixas. Starting and finishing in Liège, the 259.5-kilometre race tackles eleven classified climbs through the Ardennes, with the Côte de la Redoute and the final Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons, summiting 13.3 kilometres from the line, set to decide the outcome before the run-in to the Quai des Ardennes.
