Stage 16 of the 2025 Tour de France is a 171.5 kilometre mountain stage with 2907 metres of elevation gain. The stage starts neutralised in Montpellier at 12:10 CET and is expected to finish at 16:44 atop Mont Ventoux. After a flat run through the Rhône Valley, the race will explode into life on the brutal slopes of the iconic Giant of Provence - 15.8 km at 8.6%, with exposed sections and a headwind in the final kilometres. It’s the first summit finish on Mont Ventoux since 2013, and a fierce battle between the GC contenders is on the cards.
