Stage 9 of the 2025 Tour de France covers 174.1 kilometres from Chinon to Châteauroux. With 1,341 metres of elevation and a wide finishing straight, it’s a day made for a straightforward bunch sprint, but only if the wind doesn’t interfere. Forecasts predict gusts of up to 30 km/h in the final 40 kilometres, and with several exposed sections along the route, echelons remain a possibility.
