After a first career Milan–Sanremo victory, Tadej Pogačar lines up as defending champion at the Tour of Flanders 2026, chasing a third title. He faces three-time winner Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert hungry to finally claim the title, and debutant Remco Evenepoel, who announced his shock entry just days ago in a bid to become the first Belgian winner since 2017. Starting in Antwerp, the 278.2-kilometre monument features sixteen cobbled climbs and seven flat cobbled sectors, with the decisive Oude Kwaremont–Paterberg combination serving as the grand finale before a flat 13-kilometre run-in to Oudenaarde.
