Stage 17 of the 2026 Vuelta a España runs 185km from Dos Hermanas to Sevilla on Wednesday, the flattest stage of the entire race and, with a twist waiting on the final day in Granada, the last realistic chance for the sprinters. Just 930 metres of climbing and a final kilometre averaging 0.8 per cent leave little for anyone but the fast men, though fatigue this deep into a Grand Tour can complicate the chase.
