LIVE: Vuelta a España 2026 Stage 19: The brutal Penas Blancas awaits

Vuelta a España - Stage 19

Stage 19 of the 2026 Vuelta a España runs 210.8km from Vélez-Málaga to Peñas Blancas (Estepona) on Friday, the longest stage of the entire race and, with only two days remaining before the finale in Granada, a brutal third-week crucible for the general classification contenders. Almost 3,900 metres of climbing and a gruelling 18.7-kilometre final ascent averaging 6.5 per cent leave no hiding place for GC leaders or ambitious breakaway climbers, though cumulative fatigue this deep into a Grand Tour could blow the race wide open. Follow our live report for live timing and chat with other cycling fans, with the neutralised start at 12:15 CEST and the finish expected around 17:35 CEST.
