14 of the top 15: Uno-X destroys the field at Norway’s road nationals
Anders Skaarseth claimed an emotional Norwegian road title on Sunday, but the final result told an even bigger story about the extreme dominance of Uno-X.

The start list featured 138 riders, 19 of them from Uno-X. Only 32 were classified as finishers. Uno-X placed 14 riders inside the top 15, completed a clean sweep of the podium and occupied the first seven positions.
Only Embret Svestad Bårdseng (Netcompany Ineos), who finished eighth, prevented Uno-X from taking every place in the top 15.
Skaarseth crossed the line alone after attacking teammate Markus Hoelgaard with around 300 metres remaining. Hoelgaard finished second, while Jonas Abrahamsen completed the podium.
The victory was Skaarseth’s first since 2019 in the development ranks and followed a difficult period after a serious injury in 2023 threatened his career.
Skaarseth’s win carried plenty of personal meaning and the 31-year-old will be able to show off the national jersey at the Tour de France, where he is the designated road captain for Uno-X Mobility.
Uno-X’s grip on the Norwegian road title has strengthened year after year. The team placed nine riders in the top 15 in both 2023 and 2024, followed by 11 in 2025 and 14 this year.
National championships often favour the strongest home team, but few produce a result this one-sided.
