2025 Il Lombardia start list: Pogacar vs Evenepoel in season’s final showdown
The 119th edition of Il Lombardia takes place on Saturday 11, October and is the fifth and final monument of the season. World Champion Tadej Pogačar currently holds a 100% success rate, having won each of the last four editions, and could draw level with Fausto Coppi on five wins. 24 teams will take to the start line on Saturday, with each fielding 7 riders, resulting in a field of 168 riders.
All 18 UCI WorldTour teams will feature, as well as 6 UCI Pro-Continental teams, including: VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè, Tudor Pro Cycling, Lotto, Uno-X Mobility, Q36.5, and Polti VisitMalta.
Defending champion Tadej Pogačar will line up along his UAE Team Emirates-XRG teammates with Remco Evenepoel, who finished runner-up twelve months ago, expected to be the Slovenian's biggest challenger.
