2026 Giro d'Italia start list - Who lines-up in the first Grand Tour of the season?

A total of 23 teams feature on the start list, each fielding seven riders, bringing the peloton to 184 riders.
All 18 UCI WorldTeams are set to start, alongside five UCI ProTeams: Unibet Rose Rockets, Pinarello–Q36.5, Bardiani CSF–7 Saber, Team Polti VisitMalta, and Tudor Pro Cycling Team.
Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) aims to complete the Grand Tour treble with victory, having already won the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull–Bora–Hansgrohe) is likely to be his nearest competitor.
Sprinters include Jonathan Milan (Lidl–Trek), who is seeking to add a third Giro points jersey to his collection. He could face competition from Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step) and Tobias Lund Andersen (Decathlon CMA CGM).
