2026 Scheldeprijs start list - The return of Tim Merlier at the 'sprinters worlds'
The 2026 edition of Scheldeprijs is on April 8, with a strong sprinting lineup in what is dubbed the 'sprinters world championships.'
In total, there are 20 teams on the provisional start list, each fielding 7 riders, resulting in a total peloton of 140 riders.
9 WorldTour teams appear, Lotto-Intermarche, Picnic PostNL, Jayco AlUla, NSN, Lidl-Trek, Bahrain Victorious, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, Soudal Quick-Step and Alpecin-Premier Tech.
Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step), Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Premier Tech), Jordi Meeus (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) and Dylan Groenewegen (Unibet Rose Rockets) are just some of the top sprinters starting here.
